Lux Group to the Swiss Red Cross - Handing over the cheque

On 4 August 2022, Urs Meier (CEO of Lux Group) had the big privilege to hand over a cheque over EUR 61’440 as a donation from Lux Group to the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) in Berne (Switzerland); destined to support its efforts to support the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Delivering it to the SRC Program Manager for the Ukraine support, Beatrice Weber, he explained her the huge efforts of LUX Sales Representatives in 30 countries in Europe and Latin America:

During March 2022, each national sales organization donated EUR 10 for each LUX - unit sold to our customers, and Lux International AG, the Group’s Holding Company, doubled it. On top of this, numerous national organizations generously rounded up their amounts, and also these extra donations were doubled again by Lux International AG.

This is how the impressive amount of more than EUR 60’000 finally piled up! - Beatrice Weber expressed her high appreciation of the countless personal efforts behind this amount, and the gratitude of the SRC. - She also explained how these funds will be utilized, in close cooperation with the Ukrainian RC, in two specific regions of the country. It is mostly about preparing for the cold winter (heatings), and medications for local hospitals.
