Charity program was launched by the Lux Hungaria Ltd.

Lux Hungária Kft. is a company with a Swiss background that sells premium products. It has become highly important for the company to support institutes and organisations that need help through no fault of their own, and for whom using its products or enjoying their benefits makes life easier. It was for these people and especially for disabled children that 35 helpful Lux employees got up one Saturday morning and headed for the International Pet? Institute, in order to create a more livable environment for the children who live there.

Lux visited the place where kindergartners and school-age children with mobility impairments are being conductively educated. The majority of them are people with limb impairments due to their damaged central nervous system, and many have more than one impairment (problems with sight, hearing, speech, and perception). In addition to the center for the development of children with mobility impairments, the Pet? Institute also has an ambulance, currently attended by 120 adults with skull and spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis, while others have had strokes or are recovering from accidents.

The Institute has, among other things, many development rooms, bedrooms with bathrooms, and community spaces, which were badly in need of a thorough cleaning. After using Lux S115 deep cleaning vacuum cleaners, carpets and mattresses were like new again, thanks to these machines removing dust mites and other stains even from a depth of 10 cm. Furthermore, with the Lux Uniprof brush-equipped scrubbing machine, the helpful team transformed the heavily soiled linoleum and carpet, worn out during the decades, so now they look like they’re almost completely new. 

Lux Hungária Kft. continues its charitable activities; its next stop will be the Heim Pál Children’s Hospital, where it supports the oncology ward with its products.
